- Enter your page name or paste a Facebook link.
- Choose colors and add your logo.
- Download SVG or a large PNG and test-scan it before printing.
What the code opens
The code contains the web address of your Facebook page, group, event or profile. Phones open it in the Facebook app if it is installed, otherwise in the browser. For a business, a page link is usually the right choice because it is public and stays the same.
Pick the right destination
A Page suits businesses and creators. A group suits communities, and people may have to ask to join. An event link suits one occasion and is useless once the event is over, so keep it off long-lived materials. A personal profile link only helps if its privacy settings let strangers see something.
Placement and printing
Good places are shop windows, receipts, packaging inserts and posters, with a call to action such as "Like our page for offers". Print at least 2 cm wide and test the code on a phone using mobile data, not only Wi-Fi. See the print size guide.
Keep your page easy to find
If your page name changes, the old link may stop working. For printed material you will keep for years, consider a dynamic QR code so you can change where it points without reprinting. Looking for other networks? See Instagram and LinkedIn codes.
Frequently asked questions
Can I link to a group, event or post?
Yes. Paste the full link of the group, event or post instead of a page name; any facebook.com link works.
Do people need a Facebook account?
Many public pages can be viewed without logging in, but following, messaging or joining a group needs an account.
Is this an official Facebook code?
No. QRVane is independent and not affiliated with Facebook or Meta. The result is a standard QR code that contains your public Facebook link.
