How to create a Business Card QR Code
- Fill in your contact details.
- Style the code and check it with your phone.
- Download the QR, or use “Print sheet” for an A4 page of 10 cards to print on card stock and cut along the guides.
What to put in a business card QR code
Two options work well: a contact card that saves you straight to the phone's address book, or a link to a page about you or your work. This page makes the contact-card version. For a link you can update later, use a dynamic QR code.
Print the sheet at home or in the office
Use “Print sheet” to download an A4 page of ten cards, 85 × 55 mm each, with cut guides. Print at 100% scale (turn off “fit to page”) on 250–300 gsm card stock, then cut along the grey guides. For a professional print run, send the SVG to your printer instead.
Design tips
Aim for at least 2 cm (0.8 in) square with a clear border. Matte stock scans more reliably than glossy, and foil or heavy texture over the code can break it. The back of the card gives the code room and keeps the front clean. See QR codes on business cards and how to make a vCard QR code.
Frequently asked questions
Is a vCard QR code static?
Yes. Your details are stored in the code itself, so it works offline and never expires. To change details later you'd generate a new code.
What paper should I use?
Print the sheet at 100% scale (no “fit to page”) on 250–300 gsm card stock and cut along the grey guides.
