A WhatsApp QR code encodes a wa.me link. Scanning it opens a chat with your number, optionally with a message already typed.
Number format
Use the full international number with the country code and no spaces, plus signs or leading zeros in the link itself. Our WhatsApp generator cleans the number for you.
Prefilled message
A short message such as “Hi, I'd like to book a table” saves the customer effort and tells you why they're contacting you. Keep it under a sentence or two.
Good to know
The person needs WhatsApp installed or can use WhatsApp Web. The code is static, so the number and message can't be changed later; for a number that might change, use a dynamic code pointing to a wa.me link.
